The Sales Manager plays a significant role within the Vetco Gray Oil &amp; Gas organization in developing and implementing growth strategies for Kuwait. Essential responsibilities include the following:
Achieving sales targets for the assigned territory
Develop and maintain good relationships with Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractors as well as end-users;
* Contribute to defining and implementing marketing and commercial strategies aimed at increasing orders volume and profitability;
* Participate in the ITO process (Inquiry to Order) through establishing a systematic business scouting program, perform lead-role in the process of preparation, submission, tracking of quotations and proposals and closing of deals;
* Leverage cross functional and cross business resources in order to maximize market penetration;
* Foster strong relationships with key customers;
* Prepare sales presentations to senior level customers and GE management in support of the sales process.
Providing clear inputs to HQ to develop the commercial strategy

&lt;b&gt;Qualifications&lt;/b&gt;

* Strong background in Capital Drilling Equipment, Floating Production Systems, Surface Drilling and Completion Systems, Subsea Drilling Systems, Subsea Production Systems
* Master of Science in Engineering, or equivalent;
* 5 + years of experience in Application Engineering and/or Sales of major mechanical equipment (preferably compressors &amp; turbines);
* Healthy business acumen and ability to lead in securing orders;
* Excellent communication skills both verbally and written, fluency in both English and Dutch;
* Ability to work effectively in cross discipline and cross functional environments;
* Mobility and flexibility.
* Strong field service and technical background to provide sound solutions to their problems quickly. This is critical to success and the incumbent must enjoy the challenge of working with demanding customers.
* Knowledge of contract negotiation and financial fundamentals would also be required.

A working knowledge of API and QA systems would also be advantageous.
